Las mujeres y los estudiantes LGBTQ+ son m\u00e1s propensos a sufrir abuso y\/o violencia en el noviazgo que sus compa\u00f1eros varones cisg\u00e9nero. La violencia en el noviazgo se considera una experiencia adversa de la infancia, por lo que afecta a la salud mental, emocional y f\u00edsica de una persona a lo largo de toda su vida. Al igual que otros factores de riesgo de experiencias infantiles adversas, las minor\u00edas raciales, \u00e9tnicas y de bajos ingresos, junto con otras comunidades marginadas, tienen m\u00e1s probabilidades de sufrir TDV en tasas m\u00e1s altas. Los adolescentes que han sufrido violencia en el noviazgo tienen m\u00e1s probabilidades de sufrir depresi\u00f3n, ansiedad, ideaci\u00f3n suicida y adoptar comportamientos de alto riesgo o poco saludables.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-12399 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/candorhealthed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/d-ng-h-u-CCjgYjUudxE-unsplash-864x1296-1-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A pesar de lo com\u00fan que es sufrir alg\u00fan tipo de maltrato por parte de la pareja, 48% de los adolescentes y j\u00f3venes adultos admiten no haber hablado nunca con nadie sobre su experiencia, y 57% esperan m\u00e1s de 6 meses para buscar ayuda.<\/p>\n<p>Febrero es el Mes Nacional de Concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la Violencia en el Noviazgo de Adolescentes (TDVAM). El mes del \"amor\" es un mes apropiado para empoderar a los j\u00f3venes a trav\u00e9s de oportunidades de educaci\u00f3n y compromiso; ense\u00f1\u00e1ndoles que <em>\"lo sano no hace da\u00f1o\" <\/em>y que la violencia y la falta de respeto no existen en las relaciones amorosas y respetuosas. Los CDC, la FVPSA, Futures Without Violence y la National Domestic Hotline son solo algunas de las organizaciones que trabajan para ayudar a los j\u00f3venes a entender c\u00f3mo es el maltrato en las citas, los elementos clave para tener relaciones sanas y c\u00f3mo obtener ayuda.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Tipos de maltrato en las relaciones de pareja<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Physica<\/strong>l: golpes, mordiscos, bofetadas, empujones, pu\u00f1etazos en las paredes, tirones de pelo, quemaduras.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sexual<\/strong>tocamientos o contactos sexuales no consentidos, comportamiento sexual no f\u00edsico como compartir im\u00e1genes sexuales o informaci\u00f3n sobre alguien sin su consentimiento, o sexting y sextorsi\u00f3n o chantaje no consentidos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Psicol\u00f3gico\/Emocional\/Social:<\/strong> comunicaci\u00f3n verbal o no verbal, control de las actividades de la pareja, aislamiento, insultos, amenazas, culpas, exigencias, tratamiento fantasma o silencioso, mentiras, gaslighting, burlas, comentarios degradantes o negativos, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acoso<\/strong>Patr\u00f3n repetido de atenci\u00f3n o contacto no deseados que causa a alguien malestar, miedo y sentimientos de inseguridad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Se\u00f1ales de advertencia<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Celos excesivos, comportamiento o humor vol\u00e1til, presionar o no respetar los l\u00edmites, comportamientos culpabilizadores, controlar los movimientos o la actividad social, comportamientos intimidatorios o amenazantes, falsas acusaciones, son signos potenciales de advertencia de maltrato en el noviazgo adolescente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Posibles signos o s\u00edntomas de TDV<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Lesiones, contacto excesivo como mensajes de texto o en persona con el agresor, disminuci\u00f3n de las calificaciones y del inter\u00e9s por actividades o personas queridas, miedo a discrepar con la pareja, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>\u00bfAyuda para padres y familias? <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Los datos muestran que los padres no entienden la prevalencia de la violencia en las citas entre adolescentes y no son capaces de reconocer los signos de abuso en sus propios hijos. Una falsa sensaci\u00f3n de confianza les hace juzgar mal lo que su hijo sabe sobre los riesgos y las se\u00f1ales de advertencia de la violencia en las citas entre adolescentes o les lleva a pensar que su hijo es demasiado joven o no est\u00e1 en riesgo. Las intervenciones escolares pueden reducir en gran medida la violencia en las citas entre adolescentes, concretamente los abusos f\u00edsicos y sexuales, hasta en 54%.
