Cada a\u00f1o, a uno de cada cinco j\u00f3venes de entre 9 y 17 a\u00f1os se le diagnostica un trastorno de ansiedad. C\u00f3mo podemos convertirnos en personas m\u00e1s tranquilas, m\u00e1s positivas, incluso m\u00e1s felices, y ayudar a nuestros hijos a serlo tambi\u00e9n?<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Shawn Achor, profesor de Psicolog\u00eda Positiva de la Universidad de Harvard, la lente a trav\u00e9s de la cual vemos el mundo conforma nuestra realidad.  El diez por ciento de c\u00f3mo nos sentimos viene determinado por influencias externas, mientras que 90% es la forma en que nuestro cerebro procesa el mundo y esas influencias externas. Entonces, \u00bfc\u00f3mo cambiamos literalmente nuestra forma de pensar? \u00bfC\u00f3mo cambiamos nuestro cerebro?  Seg\u00fan Achor, podemos reentrenar nuestro cerebro para ser m\u00e1s felices.\u00a0 <strong>La felicidad es una elecci\u00f3n y una pr\u00e1ctica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un cerebro m\u00e1s feliz aumenta la funci\u00f3n cerebral en un 31%. Al igual que el ejercicio f\u00edsico fortalece nuestro coraz\u00f3n, nuestros m\u00fasculos y nuestras habilidades atl\u00e9ticas, las actividades relacionadas con la felicidad fortalecen nuestro cerebro y lo entrenan para ser m\u00e1s feliz, m\u00e1s resistente y estar menos estresado. Practicar las siguientes tareas durante 21 d\u00edas te ayudar\u00e1 a cambiar el funcionamiento de tu cerebro.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tranquiliza tu mente.<\/strong> Los mensajes negativos internos y externos afectan dr\u00e1sticamente a nuestro estado de \u00e1nimo y a nuestra salud. Hacer algo bueno por otra persona es una forma estupenda de dejar de centrarnos en nosotros mismos y abrirnos a nuevas posibilidades. Los actos de bondad al azar nos ense\u00f1an que tenemos el poder de cambiar el mundo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Escribe.<\/strong> Un simple diario fomenta una actitud de gratitud. Anota 3 cosas por las que est\u00e1s agradecido <em>ahora mismo<\/em>. Somos 25% m\u00e1s felices cuando practicamos la gratitud.  Atender a lo positivo dejar\u00e1 menos espacio para lo negativo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Comun\u00edquese positivamente. <\/strong>En lugar de preguntar a su hijo, c\u00f3nyuge, amigo o padre c\u00f3mo le ha ido el d\u00eda, preg\u00fantele qu\u00e9 cosas agradables le han ocurrido ese d\u00eda.  Recuerda: por cada comentario o pensamiento negativo, se necesitan tres comentarios positivos para superar los sentimientos negativos asociados.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ejercicio.<\/strong> No s\u00f3lo disfrutar\u00e1s de muchos beneficios f\u00edsicos y emocionales, sino que empezar\u00e1s a darte cuenta de los resultados de tus acciones. Al fijarnos metas y alcanzarlas, nos sentimos capacitados para asumir nuevos retos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Respira.<\/strong> De cinco a veinte minutos al d\u00eda de atenci\u00f3n plena, como sentarse en silencio y concentrarse en la respiraci\u00f3n, calma la mente y reduce el estr\u00e9s. La reducci\u00f3n del estr\u00e9s tiene muchos beneficios para la salud f\u00edsica y mental.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visualiza.<\/strong> Sit\u00faese mentalmente en una situaci\u00f3n feliz y tranquila. Puede ser un recuerdo alegre o un placer anticipado.
