Como probablemente saben, recientemente se han producido algunos cambios emocionantes aqu\u00ed en el centro.  Hemos decidido que era el momento adecuado para cambiar a un modelo de impartici\u00f3n 100% en la escuela, vender el edificio que hemos llamado hogar durante m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os y completar actualizaciones dr\u00e1sticas de nuestra programaci\u00f3n para que sea m\u00e1s convincente y atractiva para nuestro p\u00fablico.  Todo ello el mismo a\u00f1o en que educamos a nuestro alumno seis millones.<\/p>\n<p>Bajo la direcci\u00f3n de nuestra nueva Directora Ejecutiva, Barb Thayer, el Centro Robert Crown pas\u00f3 de ser un popular destino de excursiones a impartir nuestros programas de educaci\u00f3n sanitaria en las escuelas. Aunque esto no supuso un cambio dr\u00e1stico para nuestro equipo de educadores, que ya impart\u00edan aproximadamente 75% de los programas en las escuelas, s\u00ed fue un cambio para algunas de las escuelas que ten\u00edan el viaje al centro en su calendario a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o. Nos complace anunciar que este cambio no s\u00f3lo fue apoyado, sino que se consider\u00f3 una mejora espectacular, ya que permiti\u00f3 a las escuelas ahorrar dinero y una cantidad sustancial de tiempo de viaje.<\/p>\n<p>Con este cambio en la entrega, no hab\u00eda necesidad de mantener nuestro edificio grande y principalmente infrautilizado en Salt Creek Lane en Hinsdale. Despu\u00e9s de s\u00f3lo un par de meses en el mercado, hemos sido capaces de llegar a un acuerdo con otra instituci\u00f3n de larga data Hinsdale, la Sociedad Humanitaria de Hinsdale, para comprar nuestro edificio. Estamos encantados de que un edificio con nuestra rica historia siga sirviendo a la comunidad en los a\u00f1os venideros.  Adem\u00e1s, hemos trabajado con miembros de nuestros clubes rotarios locales, as\u00ed como con miembros internacionales de Rotary y McMillen Health en Fort Wayne, IN, para enviar muchas de nuestras exposiciones a apoyar un nuevo centro de educaci\u00f3n sanitaria en la India. RCC est\u00e1 teniendo un impacto global en la educaci\u00f3n para la salud.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, el punto central del Centro Robert Crown es la programaci\u00f3n que impartimos a unos 80.000 estudiantes cada a\u00f1o. Kris Adzia, Director de Educaci\u00f3n, y nuestro equipo de educadores sanitarios han trabajado incansablemente para actualizar nuestra programaci\u00f3n. Comenzando con los programas de La ciencia detr\u00e1s de las drogas, han incorporado un enfoque de aprendizaje combinado que incorpora pruebas previas y posteriores y aprendizaje electr\u00f3nico, todo ello alojado en un sistema de gesti\u00f3n del aprendizaje (LMS). A trav\u00e9s del LMS, nos estamos convirtiendo en un mejor socio para las escuelas con estudiantes m\u00e1s comprometidos, as\u00ed como datos de evaluaci\u00f3n que los profesores pueden utilizar para mostrar el crecimiento en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.  A partir de este verano, el personal abordar\u00e1 la renovaci\u00f3n de la programaci\u00f3n de educaci\u00f3n sexual, incluidos nuestros programas de pubertad, Life Begins y Teen Sexual Health.<\/p>\n<p>Como pueden ver, ha sido un gran a\u00f1o.
