Our Human Reproduction & Embryology<\/em> program offers students a deeper understanding of reproductive science through an age-appropriate, science-based lens.<\/strong> The class begins with a brief review of puberty and then explores the homologous nature of male and female reproductive anatomy. Students learn the scientific process of fertilization and what\u2019s required to create new life, along with a foundational overview of genetics, cell division, and prenatal development.<\/p>\n The program also addresses commonly asked questions about multiples, miscarriage, and childbirth. Beyond the science, students are encouraged to develop key social-emotional skills to help them navigate the physical and emotional changes of adolescence with confidence and responsibility.<\/p>\n Learning about human reproduction and embryology empowers students with knowledge that supports both their academic growth and personal development.<\/strong> By understanding how their bodies function and how life begins, students build a foundation for lifelong health literacy. This program helps reduce confusion and anxiety around puberty and reproduction, encourages respect for oneself and others, and promotes informed decision-making.
